This is how we got our kids to love beeing creative with ”non-familiar food”.
One week was left for our families vacation to London. I decided to save some money to be able to spend as pocket money for the Kids.
The challenge was: No more food shopping before london.
Game Rules: Prepare normal meals with what’s in our kitchen. If something is missing, be creative.
All have to Try, there is no other food this week.
All have to Rate each dish/meal. From 1-10 where 10 is best.
Results?
The first three days were pretty normal. Then the breakfast stuff were out and the pasta.
The next few days were sort of unusual but pretty normal. Oatmeal porrige for breakfast (normally not possible, no ”a 6″).
The last two days were cool. Lentil and onioun soup (normally not possible, now a 10).
We had the holiday with ”commonly saved money” – great joy.
The next week our 9 year old Adam said:
Dad, could we continue the London-project?
Love to you all
